ADE and Insomniac launch Map Point Summit in Las Vegas
The inaugural conference will land at Virgin Hotels for three days in May 2027, between the two EDC Las Vegas weekends.
ADE and Insomniac are joining forces to create Map Point Summit, a new dance music conference landing at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. It will run for three days in May 2027, slotting between the two EDC Las Vegas weekends, scheduled for 14th-16th and 21st-23rd May.
The name nods to the 'map points' of US underground rave culture, where people would meet at a designated spot before receiving directions to the party. Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella announced it during a keynote at ADE in Amsterdam: he spoke about protecting the scene's values, supporting independent promoters and creating opportunities for the next generation. Programme, speakers and ticketing are still to be announced.
