Björk DJs at Rome’s Dissonanze Festival
Björk delivered an eclectic DJ set at Rome’s Dissonanze Festival on September 12. The performance featured underground tracks and a distinctive visual style.
Her set featured Underscores’ 'Unlimited Love', ABADIR’s 'The Primitivist', and tracks from Nyege Nyege Tapes’ singeli pioneers DJ Travella and Jay Mita, plus cuts by Yaa Naara, Fave, Kasimyn and Theodora.
Dressed in a Kit Wan Studios outfit and a mask by Karina Bond, she also spun Arca and Kelela selections. After the show she posted a curated tracklist and video snippets on Instagram. Björk, who has a new album slated for next year, has recently headlined events such as her one‑day Echolalia festival on 12 August in Víðistaðatún, Hafnarfjörður.
