Boris Brejcha announced his retirement in 2028 via an Instagram video on October 25th, citing his father's advice: 'stop when things are at their best'. He ranked No.57 in Top 100 DJs poll 2026 and founded his label Fckng Serious in 2015.
Brejcha headlined Tomorrowland Mainstage and Alexandra Palace this year, plus a b2b set with Eric Prydz at the Royal Palace of Brussels in August. His final farewell tour 'Last Chapter: Becoming the Joker' will traverse 2028 as a thank you to fans.
'My dad always used to say that you should stop when things are at their best. And that's why I want to let you know that in 2028, I'll be writing my final chapter.' Brejcha stresses this is not due to illness or loss of passion, but a 'happy ending' he celebrates with fans.
