Dog Blood teas new material
Skrillex and Boys Noize dropped a Dog Blood teaser ahead of their Portola Festival set. The mix even interpolates Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music”.
Skrillex and Boys Noize sparked hype by sending, hours before headlining Portola Festival in San Francisco on Saturday, a text message with only a dog emoji that linked to just under two minutes of Dog Blood snippets. Skrillex then posted on his Instagram Stories the caption “dog blood id mega mix 2026”, confirming the source.
The snippets preserve Dog Blood’s signature acid‑fuelled electro and ferocious distorted bass, and even feature an interpolation of Rihanna’s 2007 hit “Don’t Stop the Music”. No album or release date has been announced. Meanwhile, Boys Noize promotes his solo album ‘7LLVSION’, out November 6 via ONES and ZEROS, after touring with Nine Inch Nails and co‑producing the TRON: Ares soundtrack.
