Swedish House Mafia marks 16 years of ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’
Swedish House Mafia’s classic with Tinie Tempah turns 16. The track still fills dancefloors worldwide.
On 1 October 2010, Swedish House Mafia – Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso – released ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ with British rapper Tinie Tempah. It served as the second and final single from their debut compilation ‘Until One’, peaked at No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart, topped the UK Dance chart and hit No. 1 on US Dance Club Songs and the Dutch Single Top 100.
The track also appeared on Tempah’s debut album ‘Disc‑Overy’ and on Swedish House Mafia’s 2012 compilation ‘Until Now’. The video, directed by Christian Larson, follows a woman’s journey from Miami to Ibiza. The trio recently shared the ‘Happiness Is So Sad’ video with Lykke Li and announced four nights at Gothenburg’s Ullevi Stadium in July 2027.
