Tola launches fundraiser after £30k theft
Peckham’s Tola club suffers a £30,000 equipment theft. A GoFundMe campaign is launched to restore the venue.
Tola club, located in Peckham, South London, suffered a break‑in on 27 August. Thieves stole all DJ gear, sound system components, the till with card readers and a large portion of alcohol stock, causing damage valued at £30,000.
Co‑founders Tom Broadbent and his team launched a GoFundMe campaign called “The Dance Must Go On” with a £50,000 target; within the first days they raised over £7,000. The money will cover equipment replacement, interim hire, repairs and security upgrades, with free entry and drinks offered to donors at specific tiers.
