Yoofee releases Green Eyes
The Berlin artist presents a five-track EP merging UK rhythms with jazz textures.
Berlin-based artist Yoofee has released his new five-track EP titled Green Eyes. In this work, the producer fuses his harmonic instincts as a jazz pianist with the restless rhythms of UK broken beat. The record stands out for its vivid arrangements and electronic production that blurs the lines between late-night club culture and traditional jazz aesthetics through a signature underground sound.
The title track of this release combines reverbed trumpet, frantic strings, piano chords, and distorted vocals over shifting rhythmic patterns. On the b-side, the artist lets the rhythms settle to give more room to the low end. Drawing on influences from Kaidi Tatham, Yoofee integrates his experience with the Moses Yoofee Trio into this solid and sophisticated musical project.
