AlphaTheta adds OneLibrary support to VirtualDJ
VirtualDJ now supports exporting libraries in OneLibrary format, expanding compatibility with multiple AlphaTheta gear.
AlphaTheta has announced that VirtualDJ now supports the OneLibrary format, an initiative launched in October 2025 that unifies music libraries. The update lets users export playlists to a USB drive in OneLibrary format and load them onto gear such as CDJ‑3000X, CDJ‑1500X, XDJ‑AZ, XDJ‑AN, OPUS‑QUAD and OMNIS‑DUO. The feature arrives in the 2026 version of the software.
Atomix Productions CEO Stephane Clavel said: “DJs shouldn’t have to adapt to technology – technology should adapt to DJs. That’s why VirtualDJ has always prioritized openness and compatibility, enabling DJs to use any hardware, any format, and any workflow without friction. We welcome initiatives like OneLibrary that move the industry toward greater interoperability and simplicity.” With this integration AlphaTheta reinforces its open‑ecosystem strategy, following earlier moves like Apple Music integration in January and Spotify support in rekordbox.
AlphaTheta also recalled a recent security warning about a vulnerability in PRO DJ LINK for rekordbox and announced the addition of the RMX‑IGNITE effector earlier this year. The company continues to push hardware‑software standardisation so DJs can create without brand constraints.
