Djrum readies DJ‑Kicks for October
Djrum releases a new DJ‑Kicks installment featuring 33 tracks and his own single “Psychic Video”.
Djrum announced that on 16 October he will release the next instalment of!K7’s DJ‑Kicks series. The mix features 33 tracks, including exclusive cuts by Skee Mask and Clark, plus four brand‑new songs from Djrum himself, such as the single “Psychic Video”.
The set was recorded entirely on vinyl, with different takes then chopped, collaged and overdubbed. It also includes music by Venetian Snares, upsammy, Susumu Yokota and emptyset, and the artist described his style as “bumpy”, with ups and downs that mess with expectations.
