Bristol producer Hodge has announced his new album Big Splash, due out on October 2 via Local Action. It marks his second full‑length, the first since 2020’s Shadows In Blue, and follows singles such as Tom’s Tweaks / Let You Know. The label says the project emerged after a lot of back‑and‑forth and two preceding cuts, Wiggler and Trust.
He also performed at Local Action’s Ormside Projects takeover and a boat party in Hackney Wick this summer, events originally meant to coincide with the album announcement but delayed. Both sets featured several tracks from the upcoming record, which Hodge says reflects his family life and draws on deep‑house and garage vibes heard at venues like Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow, Strange Brew and The Love Inn.
