Gorillaz reissue classics on coloured vinyl
Gorillaz's first three albums return on coloured vinyl and cassette on December 4, with a full merch line. The release features colour variants and collectible items.
Gorillaz will reissue their three foundational albums —the self‑titled 2001 debut, Demon Days (2005) and Plastic Beach (2010)— on coloured vinyl and cassette, with the release set for December 4. Each title arrives in a distinct colour variant: the debut in green & black, Demon Days in a purple/green swirl, and Plastic Beach in a blue/red splatter. The collection marks the band’s 25‑year anniversary.
Alongside the music formats, the campaign features a merch range that includes a black hoodie, a camo‑print hoodie, a 500‑piece Kong Studios staircase puzzle, slip‑mats, an "It's Dare" bandana, a Noodle mask, character magnets and a canvas tote. All items are available for pre‑order through Gorillaz’s official store.
The reissues follow the release of their ninth studio album, The Mountain, on the KONG label, and come after a summer headline show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium featuring guests such as Little Simz and Yasiin Bey. Earlier this year the group shared a hand‑drawn short film tied to The Mountain, underscoring the link between their visual and musical projects.
