Jamz Supernova has announced two new tracks from her upcoming compilation ‘Dance Around The World’, slated for release on October 16 via Mr Bongo. The first, ‘Yalode’, brings together UK producer Jus Now (aka Sam Interface), Trinidadian percussionist Keshav ‘Lazerbeam’ Singh and Brazilian collective As Ganhadeiras de Itapuã, linking Caribbean roots with the UK underground and Salvador da Bahia.
The second single, ‘Broke’, features Paris‑born, Guadeloupean singer‑multi‑instrumentalist Célia Wa, blending Afro‑Caribbean gwo ka rhythms with jazz, soul and club‑driven percussive beats. These releases follow ‘Quiero Ser Buena’ by Verito Asprilla and ‘Sin Africa’ by Brenda and Diva Cruz, which were unveiled alongside the original compilation announcement in July.
