Loopmasters launches Loopcloud 8 with new AI tools and expanded library
Loopmasters launches Loopcloud 8, its sample platform with new AI features, advanced search and doubled library, available from November.
Loopmasters has released Loopcloud 8, described as the most complete version of its flagship sample subscription and production platform. The update features Inspire and Listen, intelligent tools for idea generation and harmonic matching, and Advanced search, which takes its prompts from descriptions like "vinyl-crackle boom bap drums" rather than tags. Additionally, the Flip preset library has been doubled to 2,000, while the MIDI library features more than 125,000 files (with approximately 8,000 drum patterns). There are also five new effects: Gator, Looper, Utility, Chorus and Bitcrush. Additionally, Loopcloud's first iOS app will launch this month (November).
A subscription starts at £7.95 / €9.95 per month, with four months free if you sign up for a year. Loopmasters was acquired by Beatport in 2020, and version 6 was unveiled in 2021, adding AI search technology and three new FX: Tonebox, EQ, and compressor.

The advanced search allows using natural descriptions instead of tags, facilitating the location of specific sounds. The iOS version of Loopcloud will launch in November, according to official announcement, allowing access to the service from mobile devices. Matt Pelling, CEO of Loopmasters, stated that "Loopcloud 8 is built to help producers finish ideas faster, whether they're searching in their own words, starting with Inspire, or using Listen to find the last sound a track needs". This version is presented as the most complete to date, integrating significant improvements in workflow and creativity.
The launch reinforces the collaboration between Loopmasters and Beatport, consolidating the platform as a reference for electronic music producers. With over 1M users worldwide, Loopcloud 8 maintains the philosophy of rapid access to royalty-free sounds, with a credit system that freezes if the subscription is paused. The update reinforces the company's commitment to innovation in production tools, offering both beginners and professionals more resources to complete tracks efficiently.
