Sia sells 50% of catalog to Pophouse
Sia transfers half of her music rights to Swedish firm Pophouse in a $180 million deal.
Sia sold a 50 % stake in her music catalog to Pophouse Entertainment, the Sweden‑based firm co‑founded by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus. The deal, worth $180 million, includes both publishing and master rights, and the artist said the songs mean a lot to her and she looks forward to new ways they can be presented.
Pophouse, which closed its Fund I with €1 billion in 2025, already holds catalogs from Swedish House Mafia and Avicii. Legal documents show $165 million cover songs written before Sia’s marriage, such as “Chandelier,” “Titanium,” and “Cheap Thrills,” while $15 million remain in escrow until terms are agreed with Dan Bernad.
