Skrillex, Porter Robinson and Ninajirachi took the decks at Seattle’s Gas Works Day Party on Saturday, 29 August. The takeover, curated by Skrillex, also featured Nick León, Underscores and Dylan Brady in a succession of B2B and B3B sets. It marked Skrillex’s first Seattle appearance since 2012, when he headlined Bumbershoot at KeyArena.
During his set, Skrillex played a blend of new material and classics and, noticing the sunset, urged the crowd to turn around, shouting “Shoutout to sunsets”. The no‑phones policy banned photos and video, though some footage of the trio’s performance and other day moments has circulated online.
