Michael Bibi and KETTAMA sample Wu-Tang on ‘Mystery of Raw’
Out on CircoLoco Records, built on ‘Da Mystery of Chessboxin’’ from Wu-Tang Clan’s 1993 debut. It lands after the pair’s first-ever b2b at Tomorrowland last month and KETTAMA’s nine-week Monday residency at Amnesia.
Michael Bibi and KETTAMA have released ‘Mystery of Raw’ on CircoLoco Records. The track lifts ‘Da Mystery of Chessboxin’’ from Wu-Tang Clan’s 1993 debut album ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)’, produced by RZA and featuring U-God and Inspectah Deck.
It is not a pairing out of nowhere: the two went back to back for the first time last month at Tomorrowland, and the record came out of it. Bibi arrived from ‘Mobile Groove’, the track built on a Nokia 3310 ringtone.
KETTAMA comes off a nine-week Monday residency at Amnesia across June and July, and from ‘Archangel’, his debut album, released in 2025 on Steel City Dance Discs.
