'True artist-fan connection can only be built on a foundation of trust and authenticity', according to Spotify.
Artists who believe their profile has been mistakenly labeled as AI will have the opportunity to self-disclose or appeal the decision. This is part of Spotify's efforts to ensure transparency and trust on the platform.
Spotify has launched several features to give listeners more transparency about what they're hearing and who's behind it. This includes Verified by Spotify, AI Credits, SongDNA, and Artist Profile Protection.
