HEKATE and Change The Beat launch remix contest for women
Change The Beat opens a remix competition for women and gender‑expansive producers, offering Native Instruments prizes and a release on HEKATE Records. Submissions close on October 5.
Change The Beat has announced a new remix competition aimed at women and gender‑expansive artists. "We’re so excited at Change the Beat to be hosting the remix contest…", said Sydney Blu.
The winning remix will be officially released on Sara Landry’s HEKATE Records and the creator will receive a Komplete 15 Collector’s Edition from Native Instruments. Second place earns a Komplete 15 Ultimate and third place a Komplete 15 Standard, with all participants gaining access to free Komplete Start. "Sara has really inspired me…", Blu added, noting her visibility at Coachella.
Alongside the contest, Change The Beat revealed an international tour across the US, Canada and Europe, with confirmed stops at Fabric in London, the Amsterdam Dance Event and Marquee in New York. The tour supports their pledge to generate 300 label opportunities for women and gender‑expansive artists by 2028.
