The second case involves an unnamed man in his mid‑50s who suffered a medical emergency on Thursday, September 3. He was rushed to the on‑site emergency care centre and, after lifesaving efforts, was pronounced dead. Pershing County Sheriff Coroner Jerry Allen noted no signs of foul play.
Burning Man Project offered its condolences: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the participant’s family, friends, campmates, and all those affected by this loss.” The release also emphasized that community safety remains the highest priority.
