Refune Returns: “Same Label. New Music”
Sebastian Ingrosso announces the comeback of his Refune label with a promise of new music. No dates or artists have been disclosed.
Sebastian Ingrosso has announced the return of Refune, the label he founded in 2003. The official communication is limited to the phrase “Same Label. New Music”. The announcement comes after he closed Refune in 2022 to launch Young Guru Lab, and now, with no date or artists revealed, the imprint is back on the scene.
Refune was home to anthems such as ‘Calling’, ‘Reload’, Otto Knows’ ‘Million Voices’ and Alesso’s remix of ‘If I Lose Myself’, as well as Alesso’s album ‘Forever’ and releases from Steve Angello, Dirty South and Laidback Luke. Fans are hoping the comeback will revive the melodic sound that defined global progressive house.
